I Wonder....
Greetings to all humans, cats, bunnies, dogs, and other creatures. I'm sitting in my cuddle cup pondering life's mysteries. There sure are a lot of them. Love, loss, blessings, suffering...the list goes on and on. The two-legged one says that now that my need for food and shelter is being met, I've got more energy to devote to deep thinking. She also says that I shouldn't spend too much time thinking because even philosopher cats need to maintain a balance between thought and action. I responded by tagging her on the nose and running off to hide. You're it TLO!!

I think that I shall never see
A dog as he's supposed to be;
A dog who since he was a pup
Has learned when he should just shut up.
I'm tired of hearing dogs just yap
And wake me when I take a nap.
Those boisterous creatures bark and growl,
Bay at the moon and screech and howl.
They never do a lick of work,
They run around like they're berserk.
They irritate like hordes of gnats.
I wish that dogs were more like cats.
For cats are quiet, sweet, demure
And known for being clean and pure.
But dogs are different, that's the truth
And, more than that, they're just uncouth. Happy Holidays
i love that poem about dogs!!! i like your bed too Miss Kitty. its looks very cozy. i try not to think too much, it only gets me in trouble...
I'd just sleep in that neat bed and dream, not think!
A part of kitty duties is to ponder the many mystries of life. I tell Mittens that all the time; but she just puts her head on her big paw and goes back to sleep. Keep up the good work!
Pondering is good. Thinking tooooooo much isn't so good though. When you get too thinking too much, take a nap, I say. Nap action is a good balance to thinking.
That's a fun poem about doggies, Sam! Just like the doggies who were visiting here!
Miss Kitty, I hope you and your TLO's have real good holidays. Boni's right that napping and pondering are good balance.
