A Portrait In Purple

Hello all my blogging friends. The two-legged one got creative with a photo of me that my auntie took when she visited at Thanksgiving. The TLO used her picture editing software to apply two "illusions" - Chunky Chalk and Plastic Wrap -plus some colorizing to create this special portrait of me. I can't understand why she went to all that fuss. I'm beautiful enough without the use of any "illusions"! Maybe the TLO got carried away after I actually let her kiss me on my head. Little did she know that I felt a bug crawling around up there and I wanted her to take it off. I don't know where the bug went - all I know is that it was gone after she smooched me.

By the way, the TLO thinks that the area of black fur on my side is in the shape of a particular animal. Any guesses?

It looks like a big black birdie to me. A crow or a raven?

I think it's an elephant shrew. That's a really neat looking portrait! My mom said it looks like an impressionist painting, whatever that means.

I was thinking more of an anteater. But it's been so long since I dated that one anteater...I can't remember what he looked like, really.

Pretty artwork, though! You look as amazing as ever!

I'd also say anteater, though I've never seen one. I have, however, seen many a possom, which I've regularly chased up trees in my backyard.

Hi Derby! That's a good answer. The TLO thinks you're on to something, but her first thought was that it looks like a chubby anteater. Hey TLO, are you calling me chubby?

IndyPindy - You've got me stumped! I've never heard of an elephant shrew. I'll have to Google it later.

Greetings O Great Empress Kukka Maria - You are spot on! I can see where you'd be attraced to an anteater. That long tongue could do some fantastic grooming, I'm sure.

George, Max, and Tipper - Hi kitties! It must've been a big birdie, huh? Now that I look more closely, I can see a certain bird-like quality to my fur blot.

To the 3 Ss - You guys have great imaginations! I think seahorse is a super answer.

Jasper - Oooh, possums kind of freak me out! They're tails are almost completely bald and they have long, yellow teethies. Maybe they'll be scared if they see me and think that there's a big furry possum, with a furry tail, coming after them.

Hi GK - A raven? Hmmm, I'll have to ponder that.

I agree you're plenty beautiful enough without the "illusions"! It's kind of a neat picture though. Your black spot looks like an anteater to me. Mom has a stuffed one and it looks kinda like that.
