Time Is on My Side

Let's see, where was I? Oh yeah...My powers failed me and I found myself stuck with the two-legged one. I must confess, however, that I am VERY stubborn, so I continued to refuse to acknowledge her and became very adept at hiding (see picture). Refusing to acknowledge her included turning up my nose at the food and water that she offered me for many days. The two-legged one kept talking to me and I even heard her crying and saying that she was so worried about me because I wouldn't eat or drink. Well, this thing in my chest, I think it's called a heart, it started to get a little bit warm and tingly when the two-legged one talked to me and it really did some weird things when she cried. One night, I decided to get a little closer to her to see if I could pick up any useful information. The room was all dark and the two-legged one was laying on this flat, soft thingy. When I got near her, she reached out her hand to me and to my surprise, I rubbed my head on it and you know what? It really felt good! A rumble thingy in my chest, near my heart maybe, started going and I just couldn't stop myself from rolling on my back and letting her stroke me all over.
Yes Edsel and Mia and Ghost, I realized that I'm a cat and that being a cat in possession of a two-legged one definitely has its advantages.
